About Choong-Hyo Mission Taekwondo Schools
Choong Hyo Mission Taekwondo School is located between 6th Street and Harvard, in the heart of Koreatown, nearby Downtown Los Angeles. The school, together with World Mission Taekwondo Association, were officially established on October 1, 1984. The first taekwondo class, however, was conducted over a year before at Los Angeles Korean Recreation Center.
In June 2002, CHMTS opens its second dojang in La Palma, CA. The new dojang is managed by Master Arnold Chung. It is located near Freeway 91, on the count border line of Los Angeles and Orange County, between La Palma and Moody.
The school provides students with facilities that support good taekwondo trainings. In addition to all-mattress-covered dojang to ensure more safety for taekwondo trainings and various basic taekwondo training gears, the school also has several weight training equipments.
